Agricultural Field Technician – Sprayers – CUMMINS, WHYALLA & EYRE PENINSULA, SA

Owned and run by the third generation of the Curtis family, Curtis’s has been servicing the Eyre Peninsula for over 70 years. With dealerships located in Tumby Bay, Cummins & Wudinna, Curtis’s are the local New Holland specialists providing a complete range of agricultural equipment right across the West Coast.

Due to a business expansion, we are seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Agricultural Diesel Technician with a background in trailed and self-propelled sprayers to join our service team. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified technician who enjoys working on a variety of makes and models and is able to work as part of our team in the performance of servicing and mechanical repair jobs.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and support CNH & Croplands branded broadacre sprayers and/or equipment (in the field and in the workshop).
• Provide technical support on a range of precision farming brands including Trimble, Topcon & Raven.
• Perform the set-up, optimization & delivery of new and used equipment.
• Be part of an on-call roster for breakdown support during seeding and harvest.
• Undertake any necessary training to keep skills current.

Skills and experience

• 2 Years+ experience on common broadacre sprayer brands such as CNH, Hardi, Miller, John Deere, Gold Acres or similar.
• A trade qualification in Heavy Diesel or a related field.
• An interest in learning new skills and solving problems.
• Strong focus on customer service.
